Wasdell Falls Hydro

Sage Stone (Canada) was brought on as a consultant by Coastal Hydropower to assist with the development of this run-of-river hydro-electric power project located in Washago, Ontario, Canada on the Ministry of Natural Resources hydro dam at Wasdell Falls.

Sage Stone helped with the negotiations with Enbridge, Inc.,  the equity co-investor into Coastal Hydropower, and assisted with the selection, evaluation and project management of the Very Low Head (“VLH”) turbines from MJ2 in Millau, France for the first multi-turbine VLH installation in North America.

This project comprised three up-rated VLH units at 550 kW each for a total installed capacity of 1.65 MW at Wasdell Falls.
